CACI International Technical Lead in Fort Collins, Colorado
The Technical Lead position will support the Nordic project team directly and also assist with ideas and testing between projects. The Technical Lead will participate in team technical meeting and division level technical meetings. The position will demand the following set of skills and work ethic.
Experienced with ArcGIS, including ArcMAp, ArcCatalog, SDE, WMX, etc.
Good understanding of the geodatabase model, feature classes, layers, rasters, feature templates, symbology, Normal.mxt template, topology, geoprocessing tools, mosaic datasets, CACI custom tools.
Experience with other GIS software (open source and other): QGIS, GDAL/OGR, OpenStreetMap/NOME, GAIT, ArcGIS Pro
Familiarity with the finalization process - finalization tools, GAIT (XML), delivery structure and changing specifications.
Experience with automating processes via scripting: ModelBuilder, Windows batch files, Python and arcpy.
Experience with source materials- from using NIPRNet, Geonames, to compressing imagery for remote use and georeferencing source maps in different formats
Willingness, patience, and ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues; analytical skills necessary to narrow down problems.
Willingness to communicate and follow up with other tech support resources (CISTAC, Esri, DigitalGlobe, other tech leads, etc.)
Ability to clearly explain and document technical tools and concepts for non-technical users.
Ability to thoroughly test custom tools and communicate bugs/issues/feature requests to programmers.
Excellent written communication skills.
Programming experience a plus but not required.
Ability to communicate technical processes, challenges, or idea to the end customer in a formal setting.
