Days and hours will vary, Monday-Sunday, ability to work days, may berequired to be on-call status during hours other than normal shift hours,salary negotiable depending on experience, paid monthly.Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Control Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred OR; Applicant may substitute an A.A.S. in Electronics Engineering with 3-5years experience in HVAC automation, instrumentation and control systemknowledge OR Applicant may substitute HVAC trade school training with 10 years or moreexperience in HVAC automation, instrumentation and control system knowledgeand capabilities in the below areas is preferred:o An in-depth understanding of HMI hardware/software platforms such asSetPoint Systems, Johnsons Controls and/or equivalent BACnet HVAC platforms.o An in-depth understanding of BACnet protocols and programming Commercial/industrial service and/or automation experience. HVAC trade school and/or the equivalent field experience. Certified by the Environmental Protection Agency to properly handlechlorofluorocarbon (CFC) byproducts with a CFC-Universal License. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License and have a good drivingrecord. Must pass, and maintain the ability to pass, a thorough background checkat any time during employment with Weld County. Required to work in Secure and Non-secure Detention Facilities Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, shortcorrespondence, memos and reports. Ability to write routine reports and simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present and communicate information in one on oneand small group situations to citizens and clients and other employees ofthe organization. Ability to learn and follow safety precautions common to labor positions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measureusing whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Works under thegeneral supervision of a Technical and/or Administrative Superior Performs overall HVAC maintenance support, programming and technicalsupport for all county buildings. Performs programming of HVAC Digital Data Control (DDC) systems part ofthe Building Automation Systems (BAS) to include vendors such as SetPointand Johnson Controls platforms that use BACnet programming protocols.
