JBS is searching for a Procurement Analyst.


  • Lead internal and external (market) data and spend analytics to support category knowledge and strategy development

  • Identify savings and waste elimination opportunities through internal benchmarking of spend and usage

  • Develop procurement scorecard and BI reports to improve visibility of spend and track performance metrics

  • Assist with sourcing events, leverage technology and processes to improve efficiency and results

  • Manage keeping up with business requirements when it comes to ordering vehicles and gas cards.

  • Support category with sound contract management to mitigate risk

  • Maintain pricing agreements in SAP, track OEM value reporting, and monthly savings contributions (KPI’s)

  • Assist with excess assets optimization

  • Prepare metrics for quarterly supplier reviews

  • Monitor lift truck lease expiration to avoid cost of higher month-to-month rental rates

  • Provide monthly reporting and monitoring of rogue spend

  • Stay informed on category pricing, quality, availability, and product reliability to ensure sourcing decisions are based on best total cost of ownership


  • Bachelor’s degree required – business or operational background is preferred

  • Process oriented with a good understanding of data analysis techniques

  • Talent for building cross-functional relationships and developing cross-functional understanding

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving capabilities

  • Team player with a positive attitude who can work with international teams

  • Technical proficiency in appropriate procurement systems and analytical tools like MS office, statistical analysis software, SAP and Business Warehouse data reporting preferred
