Kforce NodeJS Developer in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Kforce has a client that is seeking a NodeJS Developer in Greenwood Village, CO.Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and support NodeJS apps for the Mobile DevOps Team

  • Create utility apps to report-on and synchronize users and groups in various ancillary systems

  • Enhance app used by developers and testers to select environment and test users with per required data conditions

  • Enhance CI/CD systems

  • Create BFFs for mobile apps

  • Contribute to setting direction and standards for the Mobile DevOps

  • Own (as part of a team) the configuration code; work closely with internal customers to identify requirements and make the necessary changes to configuration code including tests; manage deployment of changes

  • Monitor and improve DevOps tools and processes, automate mundane tasks, and improve system reliability by implementing self-healing

  • Work closely with the development and DevOps teams to integrate new features, components and assets into systems

  • Create and maintain the project build and configuration documentation

  • Support coding design and style standards from within the DevOps team process

  • Support code repository tagging, branching and merging in GIT

  • Must be able to create technical support documentation for process flows and configuration

  • Troubleshoot and resolve NodeJS app issues

  • Research new technologies and integrate into existing systems when appropriate

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience

  • Proven hands-on experience working with Node.js, NPM, HTML5, CSS3

  • Proven hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, Elastic Search

  • Proven hands-on experience working with Git, REST services, Cloud - Azure (preferred)

  • Proven experience with the Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodology, Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

  • Proven experience with writing automated tests (unit, integration, etc.), and experience following Test Driven Development (TDD)

  • Experience crafting for distributed architectures
