Seaboard Foods Feed Mill Maintenance in Holyoke, Colorado

SUMMARY: Assists in maintenance activities as well as grounds maintenance atthe Feed Manufacturing facility. Learn the flow of materials at the mill anddevelop a basic understanding of operations of all areas of the feed mill. RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assignedat management's discretion. * Learn the flow of all materials, incoming and outgoing; develop abasic understanding of operations of all areas of the feed mill. * Learn the computer controls for all areas. * Effectively use any means at his/her disposal to upgrade,modernize and utilize any improvements to better manage maintenance, withoutinterrupting production. * (Level 3) Assist and direct workers from other departments forbasic maintenance projects, facility REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty/function satisfactorily. Minimum requirement, college degree preferred or required(include field of study college degree needs to be in) or equivalent yearsof experience, and number of years of work experience. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret machinery specifications.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions fromsupervisors and management in English. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include closevision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, theemployee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weatherconditions and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration.The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is oftenexposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. Theemployee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noiselevel in the work environment is occasionally loud NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established bydepartmental needs and at the discretion of management.
