Consider joining our team andunlock your potential. be part of an engineering team responsible for supporting and improving newstate-of-art automated equipment for the manufacture of medical devices.Candidate should have the ability to work independently to maintain andimprove complex, high-speed automated manufacturing equipment. Maintenanceactivities include: equipment performance improvement, correctivemaintenance, and preventative maintenance. Function to provide front linetroubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic; hydraulic and electricalsystems. Follow assigned work orders and document work and parts usage inCMMS. Work closely with shift engineer, engineering technicians andoperations to drive continued improvement of system operation by identifyingand resolving process issuesESSENTIAL DUTIESSpend majority of shift in clean room environment monitoring automated processand improving OEE where possible.Use Blue Mountain CMMS to ensure work orders for maintenance are documentedand completed on-time.Completes maintenance activities such as: advanced troubleshooting ofmechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, camera and electricalsystems; equipment performance improvement projects; process validationactivities; corrective maintenance tasks; and preventative maintenance tasks.Contributes to process optimization through equipment design improvements,improvements to operating and maintenance procedures, and maintenanceactivities.Independently troubleshoots complex equipment with a high degree of qualityand reliability.Implements permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems.Continues to develop skills and knowledge on equipment and RF weldingutilizing: self study; CiNet/OWL; and knowledgeable team members.Mentoring of less experienced mechanics to help build their skills.Maintains a high level of knowledge of the manufacturing technologies,processes and equipment to provide support for all processes and equipment inall areas.Develops a good understanding of the theory, process, and equipment for RFwelding and cam driven machines.Responds and executes work with a sense of urgency and utilizes supportsystems to minimize downtime.Performs all tasks in accordance with company and department policies,procedures, and guidelines.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay be required to work rotating work schedules or on call as necessary.May lead special projects.May handle, collect, label and transfer hazardous waste followingestablished procedures and guidelines.Ability to successfully complete training on biohazards.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducationHigh school diploma or GED2-year associates degree preferredExperienceMinimum 5-10 years experience with High School diploma or GED, 0-2 yearsexperience with associates degree or equivalent professional technicaltrainingExperience performing corrective and preventative maintenance on automated
