Consider joining our team andunlock your potential.Manufacturing Maintenance Technician 2ESSENTIAL DUTIESPerforms preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Performs corrective maintenance activities such as: troubleshooting ofmechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls and electrical systems.;Supports equipment performance improvement projects and process validationactivities.Contributes to process optimization and scrap reduction efforts throughequipment design improvements, improvements to operating and maintenanceprocedures, and maintenance activities.Independently troubleshoots equipment with a high degree of quality andreliability.Implements permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems.Continues to develop technical skills and knowledge (e.g. additionalschooling, self-study, online training, and learning from moreknowledgeable team members)Assists in developing the technical capabilities and skills of lessexperienced technicians/associates.Learns and demonstrates proficiency with advanced maintenance practices andtechniques.Responds and executes work with a sense of urgency and utilizes supportsystems to minimize downtime.Performs all tasks in accordance with company and department policies,procedures, and guidelines.Demonstrated understanding and compliance with all safety requirements.Works to support dept. KPI's/Metrics/ObjectivesTasks are completed in a timely fashion and correct the first time.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay handle, collect, label and transfer hazardous waste followingestablished procedures and guidelines.May be required to work on other shifts and to be "on call" as needed.May lead special projects.Requires adherence to policies and procedures for hazardous materials,LOTO, equipment guarding, robotic safety, biohazard.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducationHigh school diploma or GED.ExperienceMinimum 2 years experience, 5 years preferred.SkillsTechnical SkillsProficient with tools, instrumentation, and test equipment.Proficient with metric and English measurement systems.Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical drawings,flowcharts, and/or other drawings of a technical nature.Basic Electrical/ Mechanical knowledge concerning machines and toolsincluding design, uses, repair, and maintenanceCan apply fundamental skills to troubleshoot areas that they are notnecessarily subject matter experts on.Experience with RF Welding theory/process, Bonding, Ultrasonicwelding, Hot plate welding, leak testing, etc.Demonstrated fluency with database and information systems as required by thedepartment.Basic understanding of complex Automation processesBasic Troubleshooting/ Demonstrated abilityElectricalMechanicalHydraulic/PneumaticControls Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Ethernetcommunication, DeviceNet, NetworksRoot cause...
