Charles Schwab Software Developer Senior in Lone Tree, Colorado

Your Opportunity

The Development Technical Lead will play a key role in organizing and driving work within the Insight team and across the larger Compliance and Legal Service Technology portfolio. Core responsibilities include the design and delivery of application functionality while closing working with the development team to ensure implementations meet all technology standards. This role will also be responsible for mentoring the development team, designing and overseeing coding standards and code reviews while interfacing closely with key stakeholders.

You will be a key partner between business stakeholders and technology teams, collaborating closely with the technology leads across multiple applications to drive project and application strategy as well as on-time delivery of solutions.

  • Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements

  • Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives

  • Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems

  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

  • Proven ability to work well with others

  • Ability to understand technology alternatives and when to apply them

  • Ability to embrace modern architecture paradigms to maximize architectural agility

  • Ability to establish metrics to measure improvement

  • Proven ability to validate architectural decisions to obtain accurate feedback

What you have

  • BA/BS or higher degree, preferably in an analytical or technical discipline

  • 8+ years of related experience, with a focus on Informatica, data integration, and system design.

  • Experience in developing complex SQL Queries

  • Experience coding and/ or interfacing with multiple technology stacks simultaneously

  • 3+ years of experience using Agile/SCRUM

  • Experience working in large scale Agile environment spanning multiple Scrum teams and time zones highly desired

  • Experience with Oracle Surveillance products is preferred

  • Adept at communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audience

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with the financial services domain or a strong desire to learn about the industry

  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, organization, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to apply innovative technology to solutions that would benefit our clients

  • Ability to continually build relationships with users to increase trust

  • Drive to constantly learn new technology and build domain knowledge

  • Display intellectual curiosity and integrity
