TITLE Operational Start-Up Leader LOCATION Longmont, CO REPORTS TO Engineer, Plant POSITION SUMMARY The Operational Start-Up Leader will have responsibility for leading,planning and implementing the Plant Operational components of the LongmontPlant Phase 2 plant expansion. Start up for this project is currently plannedfor May 2022. In the interim, in addition to the startup planning, thisperson will lead the planning and implementation of the Autonomous Maintenance(AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) Pillars. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES START UP LEADER * Act as the primary interface between project resources(Engineering, R.and.D, etc.) and the plant operations * Become familiar with the project and collect preliminary information tobegin developing the startup plan * Work with project resources to develop the startup plan includingCommissioning, Qualification and Verification success criteria Drive thecompletion of success criteria items that are owned by the plant. * As part of the startup plan, develop detailed startup scheduleshowing major milestones as well as daily activities * Ensure scheduling of proper resources (Operations, R.and.D, etc.)to support startup plan * Work with the E.and.T organization to develop and execute training ofPhase 2 employees AM/PM LEADER * Champion and lead the AM and PM Pillar activities for the site * Work with the plant SQMS (Continuous Improvement) Manager todevelop AM/PM Pillar Master Plans * Lead regular AM/PM Pillar Team meetings * Work regularly with Operations to implement AM/PM Pillar tools * Provide training as necessary on AM/PM Pillar tools and methodologies * Update AM/PM Pillar metrics as needed * Represent the plant at Corporate AM/PM Pillar meetings and on calls SELECTION CRITERIA Education * A Bachelor's Degree is required; an Engineering degree is preferred Experience * At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment isrequired; food manufacturing experience is preferred * Previous project startup experience is preferred * Continuous Improvement experience is strongly preferred * Previous people leadership experience is preferred Other * Excellent inter-personal skills * Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills * Ability to organize and prioritize actions to help meet plantobjectives and long-term vision * Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal directsupervision * Proven project management skills * Experience leading, teaching or managing others effectively * Able to perform moderate activity including but not limited to,significant time spent on manufacturing floor and some physical work onequipment * Ability to work night shifts and weekends as necessary #LI-123 The following questions are asked of all internal candidates.
