Neotech Sourcing Analyst in Longmont, Colorado
Summary:
The Sourcing Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing sourcing requirements generated by customer RFQs and soliciting bids for material requirements. One of the critical functions is to review and improve current processes with automation. Sourcing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing bids and preparing material cost estimates designed to optimize supply chain design and provide the maximum value and lowest total cost of ownership. This position will be based on site at a NEOTech facility .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer RFQ requirements analysis
Design and Develop automated tools
Review sourcing requirements for customer bids
Identify qualified sources of supply from which to solicit bids
Evaluate bids for price competitiveness, inventory positions, lead-times, material exposure, and compliance with NEOTech and customer requirements
Ensure that NEOTech’s supply chain strategy and objectives are incorporated in the bid solicitation and supplier selection processes.
Negotiate with suppliers as needed to ensure material cost for proposals is competitive
Review all data for accuracy and completeness.
Participate in product cost reduction initiatives, lead-time reviews, and other special projects
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must possess excellent data mining and analytical skills
Must be advanced Microsoft Excel user with the ability to create and work with formulas, v lookups, pivot tables
Microsoft VBA code development skills to create new macros and improve current macros
Must be a team player and highly motivated.
Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with EMS supply chain and distribution network.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based upon deadlines.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience/Education:
BA/BS or 5+ years of related supply chain or contract manufacturing specific experience.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
Experience with electronics supply chain management practices preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 (Salary to be determined by the experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
