Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Senior Functional Architect role within Americas Services organization, focused on providing functional Customer to Meter (C2M) leadership on Oracle Utilities product engagements. Multi-product implementation experience is preferred (C2M integrations with MWM, OFSC, WAM, DSS, etc.) or CC&B implementations with MDM integration. Will work directly with client business sponsor and leads to ensure focus on business case objectives, leveraging best practice processes across the solution set, and scope management. Internally will coordinate across the various delivery architects to ensure cohesive, consistent solutions and deliverables.

*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *

• Mentor/develop other consultants into lead roles

• Contribute to reusable collateral/accelerators

• Participate in business development, including customer presentations and RFP responses related to C2M Functional Architect role/function

• Knowledge sharing across peer group

• Single point of contact to both Project Manager and client for the C2M solution, and scope management

• Provide leadership to the implementation team by promoting consistency across the team, including methodology, deliverable templates, terminology, etc

• Provide leadership and guidance in defining the C2M solution landscape and strategy

• Partner with client business leadership to seek input from larger client organization and educate this community on key changes to current processes

• Provide utilities industry and C2M best practice, through engagements in Oracle Utilities implementations within North America

• Clear & timely communication internally as well as externally with customers and partners

Preferred Qualifications

• C2M, CC&B and/or MDM lead architect experience on at least two implementations

Facilitating workshops

• Driving the client to a recommended solution and owning the delivery of the solution.

• Providing leadership to both client and project team

• Designer or Functional Architect experience with the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)

• Utility industry experience (working directly for a utility) is a plus

• C2M, MDM or CC&B Implementation Specialist certification

• 10 years overall relevant experience, including 5 years in consulting or services

Successful full lifecycle implementation experience

This position requires an average of 75% travel. When not traveling to a client site work will be done remotely. Consultants will typically travel M-TH.
