We look forpeople who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative teamplayers, who deliver on their commitments, who are innovators in search ofa better way, and who believe in inclusion.Working at Nutrien will provide you an opportunity to help us Feed theFuture, and grow your career.What you will do:Initial and ongoing point of contact to provide all relevant information anddocumentation regarding work related incidents to Safety, Human Resources,Operations, Risk Management and Legal to minimize claims and control costsAssist in the determination of compensability, recordability andrecordkeeping requirementsCoordinate relevant claim details, implement plan for timely resolution ofclaimsReview claims with the TPA for causation and possible subrogationopportunitiesAdvise locations on how to proactively manage claims on the local level(ex: transition to work, liaison with clinics, etc.)Determine actual time missed from work due to work related injuries andillnesses and provides accurate information record-keeping requirements forthe OSHA logs for each locationParticipate in quarterly Claims Reviews with the TPA and Insurance DepartmentImplement new policies and processes related to the programAnalyze incident and liability claims trends and creating targetedintervention actions to prevent future occurrences for specified regionsProvide training programs relating to workers' compensation laws,benefits, policies, and loss controlCoordinate US based health and wellness initiativesProvide programs to support education, health risk assessments and screeningsAssess the effectiveness of offerings and providing reports to leadershipCollaborate with internal departments including Safety, Human Resources,Operations and Corporate Wellness on Nutrien-wide initiativesApproximately 10% travel may be required to the Company's domestic locationsWhat you will bring:5 years of Claims Management experienceRegistered Nurse (AS or BSN), COHN, COHN-S or Certified Case Manageris preferredProven experience facilitating Worker's Compensation programs in amanufacturing or construction environment in a multistate or national companyUnderstanding of all current government safety regulations (includingOSHA), workers compensationHands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office (with proven Excel skills)required, including experience with EHandS reporting and tracking systemStrong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail a must;ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to work as an effective and contributing member of a team orindependently as the need arisesSelf-motivated attitude and disciplined with an ability to concurrently dealwith multiple projects and meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, PowerPoint, andExcelAbility to travel domestically and internationally (including a current andvalid passport and driver's licenseAre you a good match?
