As a team we collaborate tosolve problems, contribute ideas and challenge each other to ensure growthand ultimately success for the business and our employees.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking Machinist to join our Maintenance team at our Pueblo,Colorado location. As a machinist, you will machine, disassemble andassemble parts for equipment and machines in a safe manner. This positionreports to the Maintenance Superintendent.* Use lathes, milling machines, vertical and horizontal boring mills,shapers/slotter machines, surface, and cylindrical grinders, radial drillpresses, appropriate hand, power and measuring tools, radio-controlledoverhead cranes, forklifts, presses, and all other shop equipment* Work Bench-floor and fieldwork, including alignments* Utilize materials which include castings, forgings, bar stock flats,and rounds* Read prints and drawings, layout and plan work according to blueprints,and select proper materials and machines necessary for precision machining ofproduct* Test, inspect, dismantle, assemble and repair machined productaccurately while making provisions for handling of materials, equipment andtools when needed* Observe all safety rules and LOTO procedures* Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly* Perform routine maintenance and assists Maintenance personnel* Work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, while exposedto elevated noise levels, oils solvents, and oil-based products, extremecold and heat; close proximity to moving parts, chips, shavings,scale, and sharp tools* Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications, as required* Additional tasks as assignedRequirements* Machinist Apprenticeship, AAS degree in Machining Technology orequivalent in an applicable field* 1 3 years of experience in fabrication and welding in heavy industry,manufacturing, or mining; experience working with machinery, equipmentoperation or a closely related field preferred* Demonstrated proficiency in all categories of Machining Technology,including critical alignments and sophisticated measuring tools* Ability to perform installation and set-up of Class 5 bearings and BabbittBearing Fits* Competent in manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes, and spaces; ableto take precise measurements and calculate necessary dimensions* Ability to repair machinery required in operating departments and rollshops* Valid Colorado Drivers License* Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervisionand manage your time when given multiple tasks* Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability tocollaborate effectively with all levels of personnel* Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl,make repetitive motions, hear, etc.and the ability to constantly exertforces up to 50 pounds and frequently exert forces up to 100 pounds tolift, carry, push and pull* Qualified Candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency throughtestingThe above statement reflects the general details considered necessary todescribe the principal functions of the job identified, and shall not beconstrued as a detailed description of all of the work requirements that maybe inherent in the job.* $24.99 $27.66 per hour* Shift differentialOur total compensation package includes amazing benefits!* A bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizationalperformance* Family medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage at minimalemployee cost* Short and long term disability programs* Pension plan and (401k) with employer match* Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* Employer-provided Group Life and Voluntary Life Insurance options* Paid vacations, sick time and 10 paid holiday days per year* Apprenticeship and career advancement within the company* Tuition reimbursement* Wellness programAll applicants must be eligible to work in the USA witho
