Quality Assurance Manager

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5+ years as a Quality manager within heavy industrial operations
Experience managing salaried and hourly personnel (a minimum of 5 total)
Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO Quality standards and Quality Management Systems including quality control planning for new products
Six Sigma Green belt training preferred
Demonstrated experience in applying root cause problem solving methods (8D, Ishikawa diagrams (fishbone), Failure Mode Effects Analysis etc.) to manufacturing problems.
Demonstrated experience in advanced statistical analysis techniques (MSA, ANOVA, SPC, Regression, Forecasting tools and designed experiments) (a plus)

responsibilities:
Maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System
Interpreting industry or customer standards/specifications and communicating inspection or processing requirements to Operations
Ensuring the completion of product certification packages, where applicable
Organizing and managing all QA documents (standard operating procedures, gage management, personnel training) so they can be effectively used by company personnel
Developing and implementing effective corrective actions for customer complaints and significant internal issues
Assembling pertinent information, summarizing and submitting supplier quality claims as required
Overseeing inspection of supplied materials from third parties
Confirming that NDT and inspection practices and procedures are appropriate and in compliance with specified requirements
Participating/leading internal/external audits
Initiating and leading continuous improvement projects as appropriate
Effectively managing quality, testing and inspection personnel as required

For Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.00/hour.
