Security Service TechnicianDuties: ( not an all inclusive list) Read and understand system schematics, blueprints, and a scope of work. Install low voltage cabling and devices in compliance with the NationalElectric Code (NEC). Perform data terminations at peripheral devices (i.e. - cameras,access points, controls, etc.) and head-end hardware. Configure, program, test, and verify that installed devicesoperate as intended. Work with support channels directly to resolve issues and achieveintended operation. Communicate with clients, project managers, and tradespeople toensure seamless installations. Provide end user instruction on CCTV, Access Control, and IntrusionAlarm user interfaces. Examine customer complaints, identify problems, and suggestreasonable solutions. Maintain a clean work space, clean company vehicle, and vehicleservice schedule. Log detailed and intelligible notes to service tickets and project files.Qualifications honest, accountable, punctual, and well communicated (both writtenand oral). maintain a working knowledge of industry standards. possess an acute attention to detail and unrelenting reserve to produce aquality product. healthy, and fully capable of performing installation tasks per thescope of work.working knowledge of the tools necessary to perform installations per thescope of work. This includes: screwdrivers, wire cutters, hammers,drills, voltmeters, tape measures, etc.COMPENSATIONStarting at $14 to $23 / hour, based on relevant experience. Project bonuses based on performance beyond expectations.
