United Launch Alliance is hiring! We are seeking a Technical Support Rep N2to join our team in Pueblo, CO. The Technical Support Rep N2 performs avariety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and/orelectromechanical. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts,tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, orsystems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbalinstructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data inprescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makesadjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; preparesprescribed cExternal Additional Requirements - Associate s degree plus 1 year of experience - Experience and/or completed training in the use of manualmachine shop equipment (mill, lathe, band saw, grinder, etc). - Basic knowledge of programing CNC mills and lathes using CAMsoftware. - Ability to set up CNC mills and lathes by installing and adjustingthree- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings,cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers. - Ability to machine parts by studying work orders, blueprints,engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings,reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters;interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). - Ability to maintain CNC equipment by completing preventivemaintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) - Self-motivated, team player willing to adapt within a dynamicwork environment - Ability to work overtime, to include extended shifts and weekend - Proficient in the use of hand tools for mechanical assembly ofcomponents, fixtures, etc - Proficiency in use of inspection equipment to include calipers,micrometers, etc - Ability to maintain safe operations by adhering to safetyprocedures and regulations.External Preferred Qualifications - Experience with fabrication in an aerospace or similar industry. - Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition systems. - Experience in fabrication, assembly and test of complexmechanical and structural assemblies.Functional Job DescriptionSafety to Self and Others: Must be able to perform all assigned tasks in asafe manner.
