HAS BEEN RECOMMENDED FOR REALLOCATION TO:

H4M2TX - Technician II Fruit and Vegetable Inspector

This position provides inspection, upon request, for commercial shipments of fruits and

vegetables, as mandated by state law. Position inspects fruit and vegetables to determine

quality, grade, and condition; calculates percentage of sample size and tolerance of defects in

samples; keeps a log of samples taken and maintains inspection records; issues inspection

certificates.

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights

You must be a current employee of the Colorado Department of Agriculture to apply

for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of work experience in any of the following areas: inspection; auditor; quality

assurance work; or agricultural work that is closely related to the job duties. One year

experience as a licensed Fruit & Vegetable Inspector in a state/federal cooperative inspection

program.

Conditions of Employment

You must be a resident of the State of Colorado to apply for this position

You must possess and maintain a valid Colorado drivers' license

You must possess and maintain a USDA Authorization Card (FV2 00 or FV201)
